We are authorized to perform legal marriages in both Ontario and Quebec.
‘Just the Paperwork’ Package – $350 + HST
Whether you’re jetting off for a destination celebration or prefer an intimate legal signing close to home, we offer a convenient and professional solution. We can welcome you to our home in Ottawa or meet you at a location of your choice, including your residence. All you need is a valid marriage license, a confirmed date, and two witnesses. Don’t have witnesses? We can help with that too.

- Quick and efficient signing of your legal marriage documents
- A simple verbal ceremony that meets the legal requirements under the Marriage Act of Ontario
- Your choice of location: our home, your residence, or another agreed-upon venue
- Optional witness arrangement available at $50 per witness
Understanding the Legal Ceremony:
The Marriage Act requires a short verbal ceremony in front of two witnesses. During this, you’ll each state that you accept one another as legal spouses in the presence of a certified officiant. After that, we’ll sign the required documents to make your marriage official.
Prefer a Private Setting?
If you're planning a low-key ceremony with just the two of you, we’re happy to provide witnesses at an additional cost of $50 per person.

In both provinces, only licensed officiants can legally perform a marriage ceremony. Friends and family typically aren’t eligible unless they undergo extensive certification. Ceremony Rehearsal
One of the first questions that couples ask is whether they need to have a wedding rehearsal. The truth is, you really don't need to but you may feel more at ease practicing before the real thing.
In addition to being a fun and joyous occasion to get together, a rehearsal will help familiarize you and your wedding party of what to do, so that everyone will feel more comfortable about their roles on your actual wedding day. Your legal wedding officiant is the best person to guide you through your wedding rehearsal.
