My name is Catherine and I am an ordained wedding officiant here in Ottawa. Never would I have ever thought that I would be this wildly in love with weddings and wedding ceremonies. In some ways, becoming a wedding officiant and obtaining my wedding officiant licence has been on my life path all along. I've always been a huge fan of love stories and I just really can't help feed off positive and good energy. Before launching Merry Fairy, I had so many questions. What does it take to be a wedding officiant? Who can perform a wedding ceremony? Or even what is the essence of marriage? Needless to say, over the past few years conducting wedding ceremonies as an officiant, I have learned so much about the world around me and about myself.
