Choosing where to get married is one of the most exciting parts of wedding planning. As the officiants behind Merry Fairy Weddings, we've had the honour of celebrating love stories in some truly incredible spaces across Ottawa, Gatineau, and Eastern Ontario.
Each venue brings its own energy — elegant, relaxed, modern, romantic, or wildly unique — and finding the right one helps set the tone for your entire wedding day.

Canadian Museum of Nature
One of Ottawa’s most iconic wedding venues. The historic architecture and breathtaking gallery spaces create an unforgettable atmosphere for ceremonies and celebrations alike. Perfect for couples seeking something grand, elegant, and uniquely Ottawa.
Highlights include cocktail hours with the dinosaurs and a beautiful ceremony space. One thing to note however is that ceremonies start at 6pm as the museum closes at 5pm.

Stonefields Estate
Stonefields Estate is one of the most beloved wedding venues near Ottawa. With beautifully restored farm buildings, sweeping countryside views, and warm rustic elegance, it offers a relaxed yet refined setting for heartfelt ceremonies.
Venue highlights include both a stunning outdoor ceremony location as well as a gorgeous indoor space. Not only is the chapel gorgeous, it is comfortable and has A/C for those hot summer days.

Le Belvédère
Perched high above the Gatineau Hills, Le Belvédère delivers one of the most breathtaking ceremony views in the region. Dramatic cliffs, floor-to-ceiling windows, and unforgettable sunsets make this venue a dream for couples wanting a modern nature-inspired wedding.
